Why is it that the Gettysburg Address and other speeches of history are left intact, but the Pledge of Allegiance is allowed to be change to comply with the beliefs of small minorities, as well as songs like the National Anthem allows anyone to sing it in any arrangement they wish instead of its original score it was written?
