I've said before if you stand up you will get shot at and she's right, if you stand up in the middle of a battle you will get shot at from both sides.

Taking sides is a good way to keep from getting shot at by both parties. Although standing up for what you believe may not be one of those sides. Some risk must be taken to share an oppinion. Sometimes it is enough to get both sides to call a truce.
