Superior Nobility

There is nothing noble about being superior to some other man. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self. - Hindu Proverb

I'm confused. Are the reformed bar-flys then to think of themselves as more noble than the constantly productive?

Only if the reformed bar-fly is himself a constantly productive person. One can only be superior to himself. Otherwise, he would present himself as a bragart and or a phony.
